This weekend retreat will cocoon you with all things WELLNESS: twice daily yoga (dynamic, metabolism and immune system boosting practice to start the day with a dose of meditation) and in the afternoon restorative, bliss for the body and mind practice. Everyone will be nourished with 3 daily meals of good quality locally sourced vegetarian food and mindful walks.
Not to be disloyal to the medium but deleting Twitter from at least your phone really improves mental health and inner conversation.

SOCIAL MEDIA DETOX RETREAT is something we all long for but is not always what we think we need.
Most of us won’t admit how much social media means, or has meant, to us. Starting and finishing the day checking our Facebook and Twitter feeds, Instagram accounts or mailboxes; making sure we are up-to-date with all the news and every like/comment attention we have received or given in the virtual world.
Is this all not so draining, distracting and challenging of our focus and concentration?
What if we used the time away to rest our eyes and our minds; to read the book we have always wanted to read, to indulge in a magazine or newspaper, to have a conversation we have always wanted or to enjoy a mindful rural walk without feeling the need to feed our social media followers with posts of the on-route photos?
What would we lose and what would we gain?
You are invited on a journey to discover clarity and focus in your thoughts and a personal perspective on your digital life – the rediscovery of human connection and the power of single tasking.
This weekend is for everyone whose mission is to live well and expand their horizons. No experience of yoga or mindfulness/meditation is necessary and everyone will be respected and encouraged forward.
The retreat will start on Friday (24/11), at 4.15pm and end on Sunday (26/11) at 3.30pm
The cost is £299 (EARLY BIRD £269 if paid in full before the 15th April) includes:
– 2 daily yoga/ mindfulness practice
– 3 vegetarian meals a day
– Mindful walks
Shared accommodation (towels, bed linen, yoga mats, meditation cushions and blankets are provided, although you are welcome to bring your own). Please also bring comfortable, loose clothes for the yoga practice as well as practical outdoor clothes and footwear for the walks.
There is very limited more private accommodation available at £399 for a double private bedroom or £349 for single private bedroom (EARLY BIRD £50 off each of these options if paid in full before the 15th April).
