Spring Awakening Weekend Retreat with Rosie Iles-Jonas:

Winter is a very ‘yin’ time of year, we feel heavy and a bit compressed, we’ve been hunched over, weighed down and kept feet wrapped up in shoes, so it’s time to start peeling off those protective layers, spread our skin, uncurl the body and feel more ‘yang;’ dynamic and active.

Emerge from this weekend feeling restored, energised and ready to spring into the warmer months. A spring clean for the body and mind!

This retreat will be a mixture of Hatha Flow, Yin and Restorative Yoga. We’ll also practice Yoga Nidra, Pranayama and Meditation and Jounaling.

We arrive from 4pm on Friday 17th April, spend some time relaxing, drinking tea and getting settled before a Restorative Yoga practice to really set the tone for the weekend. After our evening meal there will be  Yoga Nidra, to prepare you for a peaceful night’s sleep! Morning practices are a little more dynamic and evening practices are restorative.

During the day there will be free time to stroll along the coast, by Cuckmere, or simply take advantage of the beautiful grounds, relaxation hammocks, or indulge in an afternoon nap.

What’s included? Two nights dormitory accommodation, all Yoga and activities, all meals are freshly prepared and vegetarian, tea/ coffee and healthy snacks. We depart 2pm Sunday 19th April.

Suitable for beginners, because we are all beginners.
